Sturgeon says "So if that is the position Scotland is in right now, that would suggest that there is something about how we are governed that is not working properly. "

Well that failure of Government is her and her party's over the last 14 years destabilising this country and scaring and stunting business development.

Furthermore she has ignored and fiddled while her IndyRef supporters harass and threaten successful Scottish companies, who have dared to support the UK and/ or use a Union flag on their merchandise.

All the time trying to undermine the annual GERS report produced by her own Government as they provide correct factual evidence of the country's appalling economic position.

Honestly what an absolute farce, and the new Establishment and complicit compliant, cozy commentariot just play along as useful idiots. It's disgusting.

Nationalists cannot accept redistribution and mutual support is a strength rather than a failing.

They prefer to see it as "subsidy" and therefore a shameful and debilitating process - this is pure Keith Joseph.

The argument that scotland being subsidised by the rest of the UK is evidence we aren’t being governed properly is so ridiculous. All countries are redistributive, unless sturgeon is arguing that Edinburgh “subsidising” Ullapool is a demonstration that she’s not governing properly? Also, London & the SE powering our economy is a feature not a bug. Reduce London’s might, and Inverness won’t be the net beneficiary, it will be Singapore or Frankfurt. If nationalists could remove their grievance chip, they would realise that having one of the world’s most powerful cities within our borders is what funds all our standards of living.

Another excellent post thanks. Apart from the work done to make the arguments and to show up what is being said, I appreciate the discussions on framing- very useful.

I had a go at framing why I struggle with a certain type of left leaning U.K. view on a second referendum- if you had time, wondered how it stacks up in terms of framing?
