A very good summary of the main arguments against the nonsense we were expected to listen to and read yesterday. It always astonishes me that academics, commentators and non-nationalist politicians do not draw more on the dreadful experience of Brexit to illustrate the effects of what the SNP want to do.
I suspect that we will hear very little about this document for a while. Nicola's main effort will be to hold on to as many seats as possible at the general election, particularly in view of Labour's revival. Her chosen tactic appears to be to try to outflank Labour on gestural anti- Toryism, Europeanism and the environment with the leadership of the Scottish Greens ooing and umming like two backing singers.
Not that I'm proposing it, but wouldn't sort of fire sale help the independence case? I'm thinking....Rockall, with all rights thereof. What else could go? Certain shares of the N Sea Oil and Fisheries boundaries?
